In Minecraft 1.8 , it was added , the slime block, with it, the community has created an elevator with him, and in this version , when you are on a slime block and a piston lifts the block, you are not thrown up.

Came across a similar issue while playing on MC v 1.9.2 this morning.
Seeing as the original poster never responded to the question of exactly what is happening I'll do my best to explain what I am seeing.
When standing on a slime block that is then extended by a piston beneath it, the player is not propelled upwards every time. Sometimes you will and other times you won't.
What I believe is happening is if you are standing completely on top of the slime block and you are seeing the small wobble effect, you will sometimes not be propelled. But if you are standing half off the block and half on the slime block you will always get propelled.
This leads me to think that depending on where you are in the wobble sequence while standing on the slime block, you are not affected by the slime block propulsion. This wasn't an issue prior to v 1.9.
Let me know if you need further information to diagnose 🙂
edit: the issue seems to be more prevalent on Minecraft realms than single player worlds

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w42a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
"Elevator" is not a feature of Minecraft.
Please tell what's exactly not working (e.g. "Players are not propelled by extending slime blocks")
