Server crash when a pumpkin is dropped

I was playing survival on the snapshot 13w05b when i found a pumpkin and broke it and my server kicked me off and wouldn't let me join it said in the console:

I also tried this on creative and dropped a pumpkin (as a entity) and the same issue was caused
