So in Minecraft snapshot 15w44a the horses were supposed to had a very high chance if not 100% chance of dropping the crystals in the new snapshot ( 15w44b ) I killed about 10 of them with a looting 3 sword but the only thing they dropped was bones.
I don't know if it was intended to be like that but i felt it had to be mentioned if it already has not been.

Ender crystals are craftable as of 15w44b, see http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Ender_crystal
The drops of the horses was only temporary to make the crystals obtainable in survival.
Please do not mark unreleased versions as affected.
