[MC-9205] Pistons have the ID 33:7 and not 33?

Pistons seem to (sometimes?) have the ID 33:7, and sticky pistons have 29:7. It's annoying on my server because I have a shop plugin that sells things based off of their ID, and people are sometimes not able to sell them when they have :7.

This also happens with leaves blocks.

EDIT:
In the screenshots I uploaded, I just dragged the pistons from the creative inventory to the hot bar.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.

This uses a regular, un-modded minecraft server. The mod I have, seen in the screenshots, is only telling me the ID of the item, not changing it.
