in my creative mode superflat map whenever i throw a lingering potion a quick blue particle effect appears then disappears. nothing else. there is no "lingering" particle effect, and no effect on mobs. i tried in both peaceful and easy difficulty. the lingering water bottle did put out fire though.

windows 10. (not windows 10 edition of minecraft though) latest updates on everything.
