World doesn't load, when driving a minecart

WHAT I EXPECTED TO HAPPEN WAS:
That the world would load, while I drive and that I get to the end of the railtrack.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED WAS:
While driving, the world in front of me didnt load and I drove into unloaded chunks, then the minecrat disappeared and the world just stopped. I could save and quit and then start the world again and I would be where I was, when the world stopped.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Just drive in a minecart somewhere, where it is not yet loaded.
