Hi I run a MC Server at home for my sisters son and have trouble with 1 or more player's hacking the ops file and deopping my sisters son.
A simple solution is to replace The MC files every 5 seconds with backup ones, but the Server does not seem to reread the files unless a restart is done.
See a Bash script I wrote for Linux.

later on I will try to write a QB64 program to do the same for windows and add it to Github.
If a MC Server could read the admin files every 5 seconds or so the hacker/greifer would give up then parents would have less things to worry about after the initial setup of a server and not having to remove the and add there kids back to the ops file and the others other ones.

The Server wont reread the admin files unless a restart is executed for my work around to work.
If a hacker Deops an op the op has to manually edit the admin files again on there server.
But this is a easy counter measure for parents or a 10 year old to deploy on there home server for privileged or unprivileged users.
Saves messy permissions changing of files for computer user eg the parent.
Does not really matter if an ops password for MC gets hacked and the hacker "ops" other users on the the server, that way parents don't have to keep editing the admin files all the time and put up with sad kiddys.
Cheers

But the easiest way to get around that is to use a Minecraft Realms server - nobody can tamper around with any server file.
Disclaimer: No, I don't receive a commission for recommending Realms...
This is not a bug.
Basic security measure: Never grant unprivelidged users write access to the server's files.
