Minecraft PC Infinite Carpet

When a slime block is placed on a vertical sticky piston, and then a carpet is placed on top of the slime block, when you activate the piston the carpet moves up as expected but when power is cut from the piston, the carpet moves down but is also dropped as an item you can pick up. This can be hooked up to a clock to provide infinite carpet.
