Normally when I take fall damage, the usual loss of hearts is expected depending on the distance I fall. I have noticed in the latest snapshot that after the fall, it is causing me to bounce in a seemingly random direction after I hit the ground. This is also happening to hostile mobs as well.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place self 4 blocks above ground
2. Jump off towards ground
3. Take fall damage and watch yourself bounce (usually backwards at a left/right angel)
My apologies if this was already reported or was intended to be included in the latest snapshot, but after reviewing change logs and bug reports I did not see anything on it. After getting knocked down a mountain and almost bouncing all the way to the bottom, taking fall damage the whole way, I thought I should bring it up lol.

Thanks, it makes a lot more sense now.
I personally feel that is ridiculous and is a rather stupid way to handle all damage now tho.
