[MC-96358] Elytra not working

When I used Elytra they would not work at all. The character would just fall and die like they weren't wearing anything

Please provide screenshots of your starting position, and what you did before hand (switch dimensions?)

Try restarting your game.
Also, try putting on boots. If the armor bar doesn't show up, your game is glitched.

I did not switch dimension- I was just building stuff in the sky (Void superflat worldtype)

Yes, I tested it and it worked today, when was that report made? Mine was made on 30th January 2016
