Game loads but crashed instantley

I open the Minecraft launcher. When it finally loads up it says "launching."
It's not long before it crashes and doesn't tell me why or how to fix the problem. Please help I really want to play but I cant because of this issue.

Does it tell you in the launcher in Game Output?

Your version of Minecraft is no longer supported. We are currently only accepting bugs found in the official release 1.8.9.
