Elytra is broken. When falling, it does not activate.
To reproduce:
In creative,
1. Put on Elytra.
2. Fly up 100 blocks.
Change to Survival
3. Elytra will not activate

Nope, you need to jump in mid-air as of the latest snapshot/prereleases, try things first before calling people dumb
you need to press space during midair to activate the elytra. As of this patch, to my knowledge, the elytra does not activate automatically when falling.
