Resource Pack Menu Is Laggy

When you click on a language the whole resources (Resource Packs, Language settings) will be reloaded.
That's how it works and not a bug.

I don't think you understand, the whole navigation and operations at the resource pack menu is slow, i know that applying new resource pack lags the game for a bit while the game is reloading the textures.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) to this ticket.

Is anything not normal in the game output console while you browse through the resource pack menu ? In case of doubt please attach the console output.

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w42a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time.
