What I expected to happen was...:
The game should have started
What actually happened was...:
When starting a new world (or trying to play a saved world), the game starts with the player in a blue abyss with clouds. There's no environment at all (hills, trees, animals, grounds, nothing). Just blue with clouds like your flying in the sky. About 4 seconds later minecraft crashes and the loader window (the one you push play on to go into minecraft) is up and it has a bunch of stuff such as fatal error, I think it said bad ending or something like that. I'm resetting my computer so I have no screens shots.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click minecraft icon on desktop
2. Wait for loader window to come up
3. Push play
4. When minecraft comes up, press single player
5. Click start new world or click to play existing world
6. Error happens
Minecraft was purchased last week. Had a newer Toshiba laptop. Everything worked great. I accidentally broke the cometer by dropping it. I went out yesterday morning and got a new HP Envy (see specs listed). Downloaded and played minecraft for hours, no issues. I come home to play today and it seemed like it down loaded the new update when I went to start it. Then it started crashing (see above steps). I uninstalled and re installed the game several times with no luck. Updated java, no luck. It HAS to be the game/update. I'm not sure what else to do. I played it fine yesterday and today, crashes.

Incomplete without crash report

It's the same as everyone else is reporting. Once my computer gets finished resetting to factory. I'll try to see if I can get and post a report

Here is the error log

OK, some good news but overall still bad news.
I un installed and re installed Miecraft. I got a runtime environment issue and it bugged out like originally. I un installed it and re istalled it again this time with my firewall off and it installed successfully. no runtime issue. I even hit play and I GOT THE GAME TO PLAY!!!!
Heres the issue it seems. When you close Minecraft and try to re open it, thats when it fatal error, mini dumps again. So now im back to the same result.

I THINK IVE RESOLVED THIS!!!
Instead of using the minecraft icon on my desktop, i go to my files. Windows (c: ). Click program files (x86). Click minecraft folder. click game. drag the java launcher out. Click that. MINECRAFT WORKS!
Ive open and closed it several times and thats the only thing that works. I hope this helps. Let me know!

I have the same problem and clicking the java launcher icon works for me also. The game is still consistently crashing seconds after loading a world when I open it using the Minecraft desktop shortcut or from the start menu.

Right, the game has issues now. EG, when destroying a block it dissappears for a second then goes right back for 2 seconds then disappears again, but at least it can be played now. Wouldnt even open before. Kept crashing.
