Login Verification Failed (Error code: 0060)

I encountered a softlock that has already been reported; but when I tried to reload the game to fix the issue, multiple errors occured:

• “Settings file damaged - The settings file is damaged. All settings will reset to their default values, and you will be asked to perform the initial setup again. (I hit okay)

• Load settings failed - There was an unexpected error when loading the settings file. Please try again. Error code: 0041 (I hit okay, then try to continue)

• Verification failed - There was an unexpected error when verifying game ownership. Try again or switch accounts to continue. Error code: 0060 (It gets stuck here)
