Game closes itself a few minutes after launch with no crash report or error message

Short description of the issue
Minecraft: Dungeons 2 (the Windows version installed through the Minecraft launcher, i.e. the Windows/Xbox build) closes itself a few minutes after being launched. The exit happens regardless of what I do or do not do in the game — idling on the main menu, opening the settings, or actively playing a world — and it always occurs within a few minutes of launch. No Unreal Engine crash reporter window appears and no error message is shown; the process simply disappears as if it had been ended normally from Task Manager. The issue reproduces consistently on my PC, but does not reproduce for most other players.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install and launch Minecraft: Dungeons 2 version 1.1.1.0_50349472 on Windows through the Minecraft launcher.

  2. Leave the game on the main menu without interacting with it.

  3. Wait a few minutes.

  4. Observe the game window and Task Manager.
(The same result occurs when opening Settings, or when actively playing a world, instead of idling at the main menu.)

Expected result
The game should stay open until I close it myself. If the game does hit an unrecoverable error, it should display the Unreal Engine crash reporter and create a crash log entry.

Actual result
The game window closes by itself several minutes after launch (usually less than 5 minutes, often 2 minutes), no matter what I am doing in the game. No crash dialog, no error message and no Unreal Engine crash report appear; the process just terminates and Task Manager shows it is gone.

Additional Notes

One further player, one of my friends, using the same Windows/Xbox version has described the same symptom to me (the game also closes by itself a few minutes after launch, and in their case fullscreen seems to delay it).

Please record a video of this happening and attach it to this report.
If you are on Windows, you can use Windows+Alt+R to open a built-in app for recording game footage.
In case you don't have a program to record videos, we recommend using the free recording software OBS.
In case the resulting video file is too large to be uploaded to the bug tracker directly, please upload it elsewhere (e.g. as unlisted video on YouTube) and link to it here.

This issue is being temporarily resolved as Awaiting Response. Once the requested information has been delivered, the report will be reopened automatically.

Thank you — the recording is attached. It shows me launching Minecraft: Dungeons 2 and then doing nothing at all; the game closes by itself at about 3 minutes, with no Unreal Engine window appearing before or after. In fact, whatever I do in the game, it closes within about 2–3 minutes: I first recorded with OBS but the footage came out poorly and that run lasted a little over 2 minutes, so I switched to the built-in Windows recorder, which is what you see here, and that run lasted about 3 minutes. The file was compressed with ffmpeg (downscaled to 1920x1080, H.264 CRF 26) so that it fits the upload limit; this should not affect the evidence, as the only thing that needs to be seen is the game window closing on its own with no crash dialog, and the recording was made on the same system as described in the Environment field with default settings and no add-ons or mods.
