[MCD2-32] Emeralds being taken away when over 9999

I went to group salvage a lot of items and after I did I had about 15k emeralds and then when I exited that menu back into the base inventory it got rid of all of the emeralds I had just gained back to 9,999. I tried salvaging again and the same thing happened

+1. I encountered this as well.
for a brief moment, I had approximately 17,000 emeralds displayed. After salvaging some items at approximately 2k emeralds, , my emerald balance went into 17k and then suddenly changed to exactly 9,999.

It appears that the game allowed my balance to exceed 9,999 initially, but a later transaction caused it to be clamped back down to 9,999, permanently removing the excess emeralds.

I can confirm it still happens with the increased limit of 99.999.
You can still go past the limit while salvaging, but it will swiftly return to the cap once its done.
Maybe its intended, maybe not, idrk.
