Achievements are not unlocking when playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game

Meeting the requirements for achievements on the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will not unlock Xbox achievements like the first game, even with a linked Microsoft account, seems to be a universal issue across switch and switch 2, along with Steam. Some achievements will unlock when the save is played on an Xbox or PC but no story progression related ones (Home is where your stuff is, Brave the Unknown)
