Character progress rollback after update – Level 100 reset to Level 23 on Xbox

After updating Minecraft Dungeons II on Xbox, my character progress was suddenly rolled back.

Before the update, my character was approximately Level 100 with around 150 Power. Immediately after the update, the same character was only Level 23 with 26 Power.

I did not delete the character, create a new character, or intentionally reset any progress.

I have already tried deleting the local save using Xbox’s “Delete from console” option and then restarted the game while connected to Xbox Network. Xbox downloaded and synchronized the cloud save, but the character was still Level 23 / Power 26.

This indicates that the rolled-back state may also have been synchronized to the Xbox cloud.
