Training with the Enchantsmith - did not get rewards and cannot get rewards

I played through with friends and we did the quest Training with the Enchantsmith. I don’t believe I picked up the rewards at the time as my friends ran off ahead and completed the quest. As a result, I never got the three enchant books from the quest. In trying to get the steam achievement ‘mystic librarian’ I have been attempting to get these books, hoping they will drop from the loot pool. They are not. I played with a friend who was on a new player to trigger the quest, and we completed it but I still did not get the rewards.
