Game crashes on launch since 1.1.3.0 – 0xc000001d (illegal instruction) on Intel i5-9500

Since hotfix 1.1.3.0, Minecraft Dungeons II (Steam) crashes immediately on launch on an Intel Core i5-9500 (above minimum spec). The game worked on 1.1.2.0. Event Viewer shows exception 0xc000001d (illegal instruction) in Dungeons-Win64-Shipping.exe at fault offset 0x602e256, the same offset on every launch, which suggests the new build uses a CPU instruction 9th-gen Intel processors don’t support.
