Minecraft crashing before I get a chance to download 1.13

I tried everything I could to fix this problem by my Minecraft Launcher just won't let me play 1.13. It'd always start to download it and then the window will pop up for the game but the screen will be white, then it goes back to the launcher and tells me it's crashed.
