[MCL-10277] []?

When I open any version higher than 1.12.2 the languages or fonts get all messed up and only display a weird [] character. Also probably unrelated, but lags out a ton.

Do you have any texture/resource packs installed? Do you happen to know what language you are using?

I cant tell what language I'm currently using, but in other versions its English and I don't know if it carries over. But I do know that I never have downloaded texture or resource packs.
