Beta launcher cannot establish connection to the internet

Hey, thanks for your report. Just to be clear, you state in the description qoute "So i want to hit the play button but it doesn't allow me because it says Offline/No connection.". Sorry for being picky here but I just gotta confirm that the I understand this correctly because it feels like I'm missing half of the report. 🙂
Did you actually press the play button? Tell me what happened when you did? Did you get an error message at all?

I am able to launch the game & play offline, as well as add a server, but when I try to open the realms menu, or connect to a server, it advises me to restart the launcher, but no amount of restarting will make the launcher connect to the internet.

I don't have an especially low latency
@blce has already tested the firewall issue, & knows much more of what he's doing
I've also noted that the launcher reports as online for a brief moment after being closed & re-opened, for less than a second

 this still happens to me

@unknown, if you're not on an outdated version of the launcher, please create a new ticket and attach your launcher_log.txt file to it.

@enerGstone if this still happens to you on 2.1.5197, please provide the output of your launcher log file here.
