I created a profile on the launcher called "Old Minecraft" with the selected version at 1.5.2. When I click "play" the Minecraft window loads, but with a black screen, or parts of it flashing colors randomly. It never crashes though, it'll just keep flashing until I close it. I attached the development log.

This error is not specific to 1.5.2, I can use the old launcher, and Minecraft runs fine. But when I try to run Minecraft 1.5.2 on the new launcher, the game does not load.
And the link you gave me tells me I cannot change my graphics card drivers.
Please retry updating your graphics card drivers following this guide: http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/pixel-format-not-accelerated
Don't rely on automatic searches for driver updates (Especially Windows Update and Device Manager never work - Microsoft doesn't install OpenGL, they promote their own DirectX).
If you know the brand and type of your graphics card, go to the links provided above and search manually for the most recent driver for your card (also the automatic detection tools of the card manufacturers mostly fail).
If that all won't help, please use the Mojang Support Center.
I gave up on being able to play Minecraft 1.5.2 on the new launcher a while ago, but after the new updates I attempted to play it again. But the exact same errors persist: The game window flashes randomly and will not respond until it is closed.

This shows up in 1.5.1, 1.7.10/14w32d, but I have no graphical issues. One of my computers has this, the other doesn't. Neither has issues. Does anyone actually know what the invalid values are referring to?
