For whatever the reason, I am unable to use any of the 1.12 versions of Minecraft. I keep keep getting a crash whenever I try to launch a 1.12 version of the game. Is this something others are experiencing as well?

Your Minecraft version is outdated. We currently take issues for version 1.14.4 and the latest snapshot.
Please update to the latest version as it includes the newest fixes. If you still have this problem after updating, then please create a new issue.
In case of a game crash, please also attach the crashlog.
