Your Java is ancient. Please update your Java to the latest version: http://www.java.com/en/download/ . Java is updated, but now the launcher completly skips the login information. Thus I cannot click play for I am a guest.
I feel very dumb that I connot get this to work.

Today a new launcher came out, maybe your issue is fixed.

This did not solve the problem. As it was before, the launcher skipped the stage in which to put my account information. It logs me as a guest immediately,

Resolving this now, the original issue "Outdated Java" is solved.
