[MCL-12276] Launcher won't open

I can't open Minecraft Launcher.

When I try to open it, it just shows the loading circle and then nothing happens!

This is an issue with the beta launcher, see MCL-12279.

To go back to the stable launcher, go to your .minecraft folder and delete launcher_profiles.json. This will delete all your data, so back it up if you want to restore it later. If you know how to edit JSON files, you can change the settings.channel flag to release as well.
