In my launcher, the play button is greyed out. I don't know why this is, but for me to play, I have to log out and then click on the password field and then press enter for the launcher to actually get me in. The play button and play offline button are always greyed out.

Also you have ancient java version (Java 6), update it to java 7u25 or higher and make sure its 64-bit version.

Currently over 50% of tickets are being closed as duplicate.
crazy man, java 7 by oracle doesnt function well with Mac, I have to use Java 6 from Apple which still recieves updates, not outdated.
