[MCL-12955] Says that the game is already running

Whenever I try to play the launcher states that I already have a game running, even after my computer has been shut down for over 24 hours. This issue happens when I do and do not have wifi, it also occurs no matter which of my accounts I am on. I have had this issue for a few weeks and it has started to become annoying. Finally, this issue happens no matter which version I am on of Minecraft.

happens to me too, I reinstalled it then it worked for a day then went back to normal
