[MCL-1318] Launcher not displaying play button

I downloaded the new launcher in order to play Minecraft 1.6, but when I logged in, instead of showing my username where it says welcome, it said 'Welcome Player." Also, in place of the button that says "Play" it said "Play Demo."

This is a launcher issue(whether it be your fault or launchers).

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" of the launcher. CTRL-A, CTRL-C there, CTRL-V in the ticket.

nope I think I might not have the necessary updates to play it though im unsure of that
