So I recently downloading minecraft on my linux laptop, and easily downloaded the latest release of 1.15, then I wanted to go back to 1.12.2 to play with some mods. The launcher kept throwing the error; "java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError" but this does not happen when I download any other version 1.13 and above but this issue persists 1.12 and below.
