After nether update , Mojang launch window freezes, will not launch game

just a question for Mojang, how long do you expect this to happen and will their be a 1.16.1 bug fix in the near future?
I'd also like to add that I tried to play on an older version and it still crashed just the same. I even tried with forge and........ nope.
P.S. Mojang, I love MineCraft.

I am having the same exact problem with java. I am so glad to hear that this is just a bug. I thought I ruined my PC with a mod virus or something. tysm for posting this you saved me a lot of stress. 🙂
