when ever I would try and start up minecraft 1.12.2 on my computer it would immediatly crash without a crash report

I went onto my launcher and I added A new version (1.12.2) and it made no problems until I tried to load it and it crashed without showing a loading screen or any change of any kind other than the launcher closing down and then starting back up again, the message came up that it had crashed but it did not show a crash report, I tried all of the methods for regular troubleshooting and nothing came up
