The 20w46a snapshot does not appear on the list of all versions (with snapshots enabled). Choosing "Latest snapshot" profile gives 20w45a as the latest snapshot.
In addition, the launcher can't fetch news or patch notes:

I can not reproduce this. Please try closing and then opening the launcher again.
