I have recently deleted and re-downloaded Minecraft and changed its DNS due to an updating issue that has since been resolved however now I am unable to change the version of Minecraft to 1.8 (runs Hypixel the best for my computer). I have gone into installations and selected new but the only two options that come up are the latest release and the latest snapshot, I've looked up fixes for it on the internet and have found nothing. I am on a MACOS.
