After the new launcher was updated, I can't add a version, so I tried to create a new forage and it won't add that to the launcher versions, so ok, I go to the versions tab go add a version, and try that but it won't show up even though.

Please check "Modded" as a filter in the Installations tab. This will enable listing modded installations across the launcher. For Vanilla instanced not showing up try the fixes from MCL-6550.
