when I tried to load into Minecraft the game stays on the loading screen and where it says Minecraft up in the top left it also says not responding

I had just bought a redeem code for Minecraft java edition for pc on Amazon but whenever I put in the code that was already paid for it that it is invalid or has already been redeemed when I had just got it and it doesn't work please help me.
