ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException crash when loading singleplayer world. Launcher said my game is modded and wouldn't send report, it is not.

Double-clicked my singleplayer survival world to start playing. Game crashed. Launcher says "we think your game is modded" and would not accept my crash report, even though in the crash details it says "Is Modded: Probably not." My game is 100% vanilla, no mods, no texture packs.

I double-clicked on my world very quickly after the world screen came up.. maybe it was still doing something and I clicked it too fast.

Crash log attached.

You really didn't need to give all that information about your computer.
All you really needed to do was give us your Operating System and it's version and the version of Java that you're using.

Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version: http://www.java.com/en/download/ .

  • When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp .

Please report if the issue persists with the latest Java version.

@ Brian

That is the standard minecraft crash report that many people would like to see the whole of. In any case, it is not that much info.

This ticket is incomplete without the requested information, no response has been received within a reasonable time and we are assuming the issue has been resolved. Should your issue return please submit a new complete ticket with all available information.
Please review the guidelines before reporting issues.

@Anon - I did not respond because your canned request to update java is a waste of time. An ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException does not happen because of a glitch in Java, if it did, millions of Java applications would be throwing this exception. This is Mojang trying to access the 101st item of a 100-item array.. it's a coding error.

Judging by this entry in the crash log: "Level seed: 0", and the fact that the error occurred during the "Getting biome" process.. I would guess it's trying to get biomes before the seed has been established.

If this is the kind of response I'm going to get from you guys, I'm no longer going to waste my time submitting bug reports.
