[MCL-16962] Minecraft Launcher won't let me remove versions.

Whenever I try to remove a Minecraft version it removes but then if I close the window and open a new window it will be there again. It has been happening for the past week. Btw it is in version 1.16.4

It won't let me create them either, on linux. Can only play the newest and the snapshot.

Does this issue still occurs to you on newest version of Launcher?
Have you tried to install Launcher from the Microsoft Store?
Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?
Was there any special action before the issue started occurring?
