What I expected to happen was the new picture from the minecraft launcher comes up.
What actually happened was the old minecraft launcher picture came up.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Application on Mac OSX
2. Press the minus button
3. Look at minimised window in dock
EDIT: STILL A PROBLEM IN 1.3.11! I tried redownloading.

Is this still a concern in the current version Launcher 1.3.1 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Sorry I took so long to reply, I forgot about this (lol, it was like half a year ago). Yes it is still a problem in 1.3.1 and up, but surely it would be as simple as changing the texture.
And @Torabi it is normal when not minimised (just clear and everything) but when minimised it will look different.
PS: I will be including a screenshot of the non minimised version.
Have you redownloaded the launcher? The icon is part of the launcher that can't automatically update itself. This was already reported at MCL-163, which was marked fixed a long time ago.
I suggest you attach screencaps of the icon, both with the launcher visible and minimized, at MCL-163, and explain that you're still experiencing this on 1.3.11.
Are you talking about something like that described in MCL-163? Have you tried redownloading the bootstrap (Minecraft.dmg) from the website? While the launcher can be automatically updated, the bootstrap, which loads the launcher, has to be updated manually.
