Whenever I try to connect to a multiplayer-server i get a loading screen for about 30 secs. Then I get an error message: "Failed to connect to server - Failed to login: The authentication are currently down for maintenance"
I have a working internet connection (I can write this 😃, Magic Launcher shows that Login server is available, I can also log in and download the game using the original launcher and the server gets displayed as available).
The login servers are also available, because other players can connect to the server (they're probably using Windows machines).
I first expired this bug on Friday, 28th of October (after updating to 1.7.2).

I can't unistall libxerces2-java, because it's a dependency of Eclipse, FreeCAD, Libreoffice, etc.

Tis issue has nothing to do with MCL-1672, so uninstalling xerces is a bad idea and won't help anything.
