when i load up minecraft java the bar will start to fill like normal then just stop in the middle
and then it will say not responding

Duplicate of MCL-6550. Please see the "potential fix" attached to this ticket, to potentially fix this issue.
Same thing is happening to me, but mine goes more further down then stops at around 75%
