Beta won't turn off

So basically I tried to use the beta version of the launcher, and It worked! The problem is that
I unselected it and well I figured that it would turn off when I closed it and re-opened it. So I go into my installations and I try to create a new one, mind you I was trying to install "Forge"
and I tried turning the beta on and off to see if it did anything because it wasn't working
And then I see the beta installations and I say "Oh crap" I went into the settings and it Said
that it was off please help me and get back to as soon as possible. Also I can play the installations that were already there but I can't make new ones they just are the beta versions
