[MCL-1791] when I click the "play offline" button nothing happens

i log in fine, but when i hit play offline it shows a green loading bar, and nothing happens. I just stay at the launcher.

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" tab of the launcher.

Hi rayce,
Windows 8 has some problems with minecraft. Either A)Restarting PC fully (Holding power down for the full 4 seconds than turning it on, not hibernating) or
B) Downloading Minecraft.exe again.
Don't worry, downloading it again won't delete your progress. Hopefully you won't encounter another problem like this again.
