It's no longer possible to purchase Minecraft without a Microsoft account.
If you want a refund, please contact Mojang Support.
You should however definitely be able to play on any servers with your Microsoft account. Please contact Community Support for assistance with this issue and refer to this ticket (e.g. "I have reported this issue on Mojira as MCL-XYZ.").
