April 19th.
Update: At 3:45am EST, after updateing to Java version 7.0.210.11 it happened again, This time while I was playing the game it froze then stopped responding to anything I tried.
April 18th.
Launcher started...
Getting syncinfo for selected version
Queueing downloads
Launching game
Couldn't unpack natives!
java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\blue\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\13w16a\13w16a-natives\OpenAL64.dll (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process)
The above is what the new launcher says when trying to restart after Minecraft froze, then refused to respond and close.
After the game froze I tempted to end the Process for java.exe, however the application will not end and unless I shutdown or restart my computer.

I updated my Java to Java version 7.0.210.11 as mentioned, the same thing just happened at 3:45am EST.
game freezes then refuses to respond to anything.
Please update your java installation, as the version you are using is fairly outdated.
