Minecraft Java Edition crashed in the middle of playing, freezing badly enough that I had to restart my PC. When I restarted it and went to relaunch it, the launcher gave me the following error message:

Error details: permission denied
Filename on disk: javaw.exe
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\javaw.exe

Updating launcher and Minecraft itself did not resolve issue. Restart did not resolve issue. Running launcher as administrator did not resolve issue.

I have the same problem. My game was lagging hard, and before i could turn it off my pc crashed and now that i try to launch it, it says the same thing.
This is the worst kind of bug by far, i cannot even launch snapshot versions or 1.16
