The Arch Linux User Repository version of the minecraft launcher logs the user out of their account once the window is killed, I have tried reproducing the bug in the windows launcher but no success. Another user have reported that their getting the same problem as described in this bug report, It may be because of missing dependencies or a issue in the packaging, I currently do not have any logs.
