Issue with installation

I was downloading the most recent update for Minecraft Dungeons which came with the Spookier Fall event. While it was downloading, I lost power and I think the file somehow got corrupted. Eventually I uninstalled the game and re-installed it but under the installation menu there was an option to repair the installation. When clicked nothing happens, it simply fails to repair. I can play the game offline but anytime I try and play online with my friend, one of two things happens. Either I can get in the game but get kicked randomly during missions, or it will tell me I have an invite to his session but will take me to the X-Box game menu where it will redirect me to buy the game. I own the game along with all the DLC's and the Hero Edition. I don't know what to do about this. Please help me. Thank you.
